friendship...creepy

nowadays it's hard to find a loyal friend,,, there are some people who "disguise" as your friend just for a short period of time till they get what they want then you won't hear anything from them,,, why does frindship nowadays build on interests and taking advantage of each other? what ever happend to the friends we used to know in the past? "frinds for ever" yeah maybe i remember saying this when i was in primary school but now!! i don't think so,, friends should call at least just to say "hiiiii" even if you just saw them yesterday,, not call you when the last time you've seen them a year a go and all they say is "can you do me a favor?" or call whenever they want something from you and when you need something from them there is always excuses.
