Syria

it was my first and i think my last visit to this country although i liked some places but i don't know, the airport was such a mess it's very depressing place and looks like someone died there lol, people of Syria are well known by hospitality and I've been invited about 3 times by people we barley know and i guy we barley know gave us his villa on the mountain in Lattakia (اللاذقيه) and didn't accept from us any money and invited us to dinner that was very nice of the guy, I've visited every thing in Syria from the east to the west and from the north to the south I've been on mountains, on the sea and even on land :P taxis take advantage of us cause we're Kuwait's and take us to any where and double the price we discovered that after we spend a week and half lol but that happens everywhere not just in Syria, we had a huge problem with restaurants since not all of them are clean and i got food poison from them :x there was one restaurant and it was very good and clean the grills were unbelievable called "Al-Kamal" if you ever want to go to Syria you should try it we are 3 guys and we ate till we got full and can't walk for about 7 KD's, the weather at noon is kind of hot but not Kuwait's hot and at noon the weather is cool about 22° and when it's about 2 or 3 AM the weather gits colder about 15° and that's in Damascus imagine what would the temperature be on a mountain at night, I've noticed that there are a lot of Iraqis and Saudis and Iranian there, a guy told us that there are about 3 and half million iraqis in the country and I've enjoyed Iraqi bread lol and it's like every city in Syria is a territory for any country lol :P you can't find any malls there cause the weather is good not hot they don't need malls I've found just 3 malls and they are small can't compare to any mall here in Kuwait and they are called "Damascus mall", "City mall" and i don't remember the 3rd one, every thing was just fine till i went to the airport to come back to Kuwait people in the airport ask for money for everything that don't need money for :\ that was just sick i hated that thing so maybe I'm not ever going there cause of that thing and the way they treat people is very awful,,, and that's about every thing maybe :P I'll post some pictures i took

i just got back from Syria ohh god i can't believe I'm back, e6la3at elsafra men 3eeny :x I'll talk about it later I'm tired now,,, i really missed Kuwait and blogging, I'll talk about it tomorrow :D

I'm leaving to Syria today and it's going to be my first visit, i hope it's good :x,,,

Bahrain

after driving for about 4 and half or 5 hours we finally got to Bahrain and the first thing was on my mind, "I WANT TO SEE THE SEEF MALL" so we went to the mall and had lunch, the mall was nice but not was i expected it to be ;P the Bahranian people are so nice and friendly i love them and love their accent :D ,,,

but the weather is deadly :x the humidity at noon is unbelievable can't breath out side thanks god we got Ac's :P

Bahrain Mall's I've visit:

1- Al-Seef Mall: the best and you can find everything there

2- Al-3ali Mall: so quiet and peaceful no one ever go there i don't know why :P and as missy says "this mall for moms" :P

3- Marina Mall: and no it's not like Kuwait's marina mall, it's more like center point and home center

4- Bahrain Mall: i liked this one cause it got a big supermarket like carrefour called "Geant"

i really like Bahrain and i don't think this is going to be my last visit :D but for know I'm back in Kuwait and I'll be leaving to another country tomorrow ;D 9ayer ibn battuta :P

PS: this is the first time i travel by car

Charles Chaplin movie

I've read and heard a lot in the news, blogs, etc about Charles Chaplin's movie's and that a lot of people are there and all the non-sense, so i decided to go there and spend some quality time with my Lil bro and sis since i like old movies and old stuff, so after i got lost cause i don't know where the place is a finally found it that's the plaaaaace

look like a dead place to me hehehe i didn't know where's the way in cause the door facing the street was closed so i said to myself maybe I'm in the wrong place but my sis told me maybe there's another way in, i went to the back of the building and there was only 3 cars i saw a women and the security standing there so i asked her

me: hello

her: hala

me: is this is the place where they show Charles Chaplin movie's?

(looks at me like i talked about her mom or something and responed with a bad tune)

her: yeah it's the place

so i said to my self "f**k you what was all that about?" any way this is the right place

each person i meet i ask for direction i couldn't believe i was that was the right place cause no one was there they served juice at the door and water hehehe at laaast i found the place but sadly there was only 15 person includes me and my Lil bro and sis (yeah i did count them) o most of them were old people lol, the movie was funny it was called "Modern Times" it was a funny movie, i don't blame people for not coming cause who would come to see a movie made in "1936" ? that movie was made 51 years before i was existed lol, gotta do it again tomorrow :P

ba3da 3ana2 m3a el emt7anat i'm home a5eeraaan :P after about 40 hours of non sleeping :P it was a rough trip back to kuwait i went ti my final exam without sleeping i don't know why but el7emdelelah it was a good one,,,

the exams were good i've never done anything better :D and i came back to kuwait 3 days ago ohh i missed kuwait,,, and i hope i get i good vication here m3 el `3baar oo elr6oobah :P

can't wait till i go every where and do everything i wanted to do :D

eve on the nile

today we went to a cafe near the nile after we got bored we took a walk the weather was great and the guys wanted to eat something in egypt called "bellela" or "7alabesa" and what we call in kuwait "n5y" and in english "hims" :P i've never tried it before and they insisted that i should try it

25% is the hims and the 75% was the hims water with "kamon" & "korkom" & lemon, the hims were too hard as if you were eating a small rock i didn't like it at all but my friends did, you guys should try it yourself with your own recipe or the same recipe

the good thing that the hims in kuwait are better than here and more delicious :P

PS: after eating this "thing" my stomach started to make some noise and i had alot of gas, so here's a little advice... when you eat it go sit alone cause the people next to you will die (if you know what i mean :x )

Ahmedi's Carnival 2007

i took this trip on the first day of Ahmedi's Carnival 2007 and it was really fun, alot of family's and people from kuwait and visitors from other countries were there but sadly my cam just broke so i had to use my phone's cam, oh well better than nothin, ok i'll show you some pic's:

and there was a small kids theatre & a climbing place and alot of stuff :D

رحله الى ايكيا

قبل جم يوم رحت رحله عائليه الى ايكيا اليديد الي مادري بأي منطقه بس اهوه وايد كبير وكان عندنا مشروع ريوق بس لأسباب تقنيه صار غدى ويهيهيهيهيهي

وهذي اهيه البوابه واكو يمها نافوره بس ماصورتها كان برد (حده شكو) وانا كنت مستعيل بدش اشوفه من كثر ما يمدحونه

ودشينا وصعدنا فوق حق المطعم وكان صج حلو شكله وكشخه واحسن شي انه كان هدووووء مافي احد صخه الواحد ياكل على راحته,,,,واهني بدايه البوفيه كل واحد ياخذله صحن وقفشه وشوكه ويلحقني

هذا قسم الحلويات والعصير مادري شحقه حاطينه اول شي

واهني الشغل العدل كنت مشتهي عيش من زمان مو ماكل عيش مضبوط مع مرء (مرق) كاري مادري شسمه ويهييهيهيه

وبالهنى والشفى على قلوبكم انشالله

وانا اكل كانت هذي معلقه جدام ويهي فوق الطاوله عجبني شكلها قلت خل اصورها, وبعد الاكل الحلو قلنا خنتسوق ونفتر وخذيت اخوي الصغير وقعدنا نفتر بسرعه وخلصناه كله جان نرد ندش مره ثانيه ورحنا صوب الالعاب لعبنا شويه

و بعدها خليناهم يدفعون ورحنا ناكل ذره بره عند الكاشير وانتهت رحله اليوم وعلى امل ان اراكم في رحله ثانيه مشوقه

واستانسنا بهل رحله الجميله لمكان يديد والي ما يدل وين صاير لا يسألني انا زين ادل بيتنا وكل ما اطلع لازم اضيع :(
